Daniel Gumbleton-Wood

Dan brings exceptional technical expertise to Smoove Technologies as the driving force behind the company's innovative AI architecture.

With a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Newcastle University, Dan established his technical credentials at Dyson designing advanced motor technologies before transitioning to Artificial Intelligence.

Before co-founding Smoove Technologies, Dan served as Head of AI at a global leading consultancy, directing cutting-edge projects and developing practical applications for machine learning in enterprise environments.

At Smoove Technologies, Dan heads up the technical and operational side of the company, applying his expertise to create healthcare solutions that transform clinical workflows through speech recognition and generative AI technologies.

His combination of academic research, engineering experience, and enterprise AI leadership enables Smoove Technologies to bridge the gap between theoretical AI capabilities and practical healthcare applications.

Alexander Farrahi

Alex brings strong accounting and financial leadership to Smoove Technologies.

Holding a Masters in Finance and an ACA qualification from Deloitte, Alex has developed expertise across multiple financial sectors. His career spans corporate finance with a focus on M&A, senior accounting roles in industry, and entrepreneurship through founding his own accountancy practice specializing in small business advisory.

At Smoove Technologies, Alex oversees financial strategy and operational management. His ability to balance financial discipline with business growth makes him instrumental to Hark's development and market positioning. While the technical team advances Hark's AI capabilities, Alex ensures the company builds sustainable foundations to support its healthcare innovation mission.

His comprehensive financial background complements the technical expertise within the leadership team, creating the balanced approach needed to successfully bring Hark's transformative technology to healthcare professionals.
